SHIPPING POLICY
This Shipping Policy explains the production, shipping, tracking, delivery, customs, and damage procedures for orders placed with Little Warm Things.
1. MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTION
Our custom drawer inserts are made to order according to the customer’s exact internal drawer dimensions, selected material, colors, functional requirements, and approved design.
Custom orders may begin with an $80 deposit. After the deposit is received, our team will contact the customer to collect the exact internal dimensions, material and color selections, storage requirements, and layout information required for the project.
Once all required information has been received, we will provide a detailed final quote. The $80 deposit is credited toward the final order total. The remaining balance must be paid before custom design work begins.
After the remaining balance is paid, our design team normally provides a custom design sketch within 1–2 business days. Production begins only after the customer approves the final design.
Production begins only after the customer approves the final design.
The production and delivery timeline begins after final design approval—not necessarily on the original order date.
Delays in providing measurements, photographs, selections, customs information, or design approval may delay production and delivery.
2. ESTIMATED TIMELINE
After design approval, production and worldwide shipping typically take approximately 2–3 weeks.
Please allow up to 4 weeks depending on:
• Product dimensions
• Quantity
• Design complexity
• Material availability
• Destination
• Customs procedures
• Carrier conditions
• Weather
• Holidays
• Remote-area delivery
• Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date in writing.
3. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
We offer complimentary worldwide shipping to supported destinations.
Unless your written quote, listing, or checkout states otherwise, the confirmed order price includes standard shipping to the approved delivery address.
Some destinations, remote areas, restricted regions, oversized orders, or unusual delivery requirements may require additional arrangements. If an additional charge applies, we will notify you before production.
4. IMPORT DUTIES
Unless otherwise disclosed in your written quote or at checkout, standard import duties are included in the confirmed order price.
Customers are responsible for providing any documentation, identification, tax information, customs number, authorization, or other information legally required for customs clearance.
Additional charges caused by the following may remain the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law:
• Incorrect customer information
• Failure to complete customs requirements
• Refused delivery
• Address changes after shipment
• Unauthorized package redirection
• Storage fees
• Re-delivery fees
• Special local handling charges caused by customer action or inaction
5. DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
Before completing your order, check:
• Recipient’s full name
• Street address
• Apartment, suite, unit, or building number
• City
• State, province, or region
• Postal code
• Country
• Telephone number
• Email address
Contact us immediately if an address needs to be corrected.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after production or shipment has begun.
Little Warm Things is not responsible for delays, losses, fees, or failed delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
6. SHIPPING CARRIERS
We may use FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, local postal services, regional carriers, freight providers, or other appropriate delivery services.
Carrier selection depends on the destination, package dimensions, product requirements, service availability, customs procedures, and delivery conditions.
The use of a particular carrier is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
7. MULTIPLE PACKAGES
Large orders, multi-piece orders, or oversized inserts may be divided into multiple packages.
Packages from the same order may:
• Have different tracking numbers
• Be shipped on different dates
• Clear customs separately
• Arrive on different days
Receiving one package does not necessarily mean that the full order has been delivered.
8. TRACKING INFORMATION
Tracking information will be provided when available.
Tracking may take time to update after a shipping label is created or after a package is transferred between carriers.
A tracking number that initially shows limited information does not necessarily mean the package has not entered the shipping process.
Customers should monitor tracking and respond promptly to carrier requests.
9. DELIVERY TIME AND DELAYS
Carrier transit times and customs processing times are estimates and may change.
Delays may occur because of:
• Customs inspection
• Carrier congestion
• Severe weather
• Holidays
• Flight or transportation disruption
• Remote-area service
• Incorrect address information
• Missed delivery attempts
• Government restrictions
• Events outside our reasonable control
If we learn that we cannot ship within the promised or legally required time, we will contact the customer with an updated estimate and provide any cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.
10. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Customers must cooperate with reasonable customs or carrier requests.
This may include providing:
• Identification
• Tax or customs numbers
• Proof of purchase
• Authorization forms
• Recipient confirmation
• Other legally required documents
Failure to respond may result in delay, storage, return, abandonment, or disposal of the package.
Charges caused by a customer’s failure to complete required clearance procedures may not be refundable where permitted by law.
11. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
Customers are responsible for monitoring delivery and making reasonable arrangements to receive the package.
If the carrier cannot complete delivery because no one is available, the customer should contact the carrier promptly.
Fees resulting from repeated delivery attempts, storage, address correction, or re-delivery may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.
12. REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
Do not refuse a package because of visible outer-box damage without first documenting the condition and contacting us whenever reasonably possible.
If a customer refuses delivery, fails to respond to the carrier, provides an incorrect address, or does not complete customs clearance, the package may be returned, stored, abandoned, or disposed of.
Any refund or re-shipment will be reviewed after the package status and condition are confirmed.
Shipping, storage, return, customs, address correction, and re-delivery costs caused by the customer may be deducted from any available refund where permitted by law.
Custom-made products do not automatically become eligible for cancellation or refund merely because delivery was refused.
13. LOST PACKAGES
If tracking has not updated for an unusual period or a package appears lost, contact us at:
contact.littlewarmthings@gmail.com
We will investigate with the shipping carrier.
A replacement or refund may not be issued until the carrier investigation is completed or sufficient evidence confirms that the shipment is lost.
If the carrier confirms that the package was delivered, we may request additional information, including confirmation of the address, delivery photographs, security footage, or communication with building management.
14. DAMAGED PACKAGES
Inspect your package promptly after delivery.
If a package or product arrives damaged, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Please provide:
• Order number
• Clear photograph of the shipping label
• Clear photographs of every side of the outer package
• Photographs of the inner packaging
• Clear photographs or video showing the damaged product
• A description of the issue
Keep all original packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
Do not arrange an unauthorized third-party repair or alteration before receiving written instructions from us.
After reviewing the evidence, available resolutions may include repair instructions, repair materials, replacement components, remake, replacement, partial refund, or full refund where appropriate or required by law.
15. ORDER CHANGES AFTER SHIPPING
Changes to the recipient, address, delivery date, carrier service, or destination after shipment are not guaranteed.
A carrier may charge fees for address correction, package redirection, storage, or special delivery requests.
Such fees may be charged to the customer when the requested change is initiated by the customer.
